The Vlachos family tends over 3,000 trees, producing Poros Island’s most famous fruit: lemons. Their company, Lemonodasos—Greek for “lemon forest”—reflects their deep reverence for the lush groves that surround them. Using a traditional family recipe, they craft lemonades, lemon teas and jams, each capturing the essence of fresh lemons. When Kathy tried their lemonade, she said it was just right—not too sweet, perfectly refreshing. Some even say they grow the best lemons in Greece—perhaps the world.
