She sails on the lake’s crystal clear waters to take in the stunning views from the chateau that was said to inspire Walt Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty.” Kathy even cooks with 2-Michelin star chef Jean Sulpice. Kathy studied here in college and can’t wait to share this special place with viewers.

When I was 18 years old I attended a summer study program at Tufts University’s European Center in the tiny town of Talloires on Lake Annecy. France was my first love and the moment I knew the Europe show was a go, I began planning a Lac d’Annecy episode. It was the first episode we filmed although it is the third in airing. – Kathy
