Kathy explores Greek island life, setting sail on a cruise that takes her through the Greek Islands including a stop on Santorini before arriving in Athens and exploring two nearby Saronic islands, Aegina and Poros. These islands are close enough to Athens for day trips and provide Kathy with the unique experiences of visiting a pistachio farm, learning to cook farm-to-table Greek cuisine and visiting an animal rescue.

Let me tell you that nothing is a sure thing in television. Sometimes, no, quite often, the best laid plans quickly evaporate! We were supposed to film on the islands of Mykonos, on Greek Easter, no less, for this episode. We had an incredible Greek lunch experience all planned out. But we never made it to Mykonos. Why? We were arriving by cruise ship and although it was sunny and gorgeous it was too windy to dock. But the islands that made it into this episode – Santorini, Aegina, Poros presented their own compelling stories! – Kathy
