Oraia Ellas coffee shop has been open in Plaka since 1839, and that tradition is steeped right into the coffee. Kathy loved visiting with barista Giannis Antoniou, who’s warmth is as sweet as this traditional Greek coffee. Brewed by swirling it in a heated bed of sand, this coffee is bold, rich and unforgettable.
