Even before I was dreaming of Italy, I was dreaming of Europe…

I first stepped foot on the continent at the age of 10 on a family trip to London and I have been enchanted by this continent ever since. I even have a B.S.F.S. in European Studies from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where I also gained fluency in French.

I always say France was my first love, before Italy stole me away.

I’m thrilled to announce that my new PBS travel series Dream of Europe will premiere on PBS stations and streaming in January 2025! And it gave me a chance to return to my first love, France, for an episode on stunning Lake Annecy in the French Alps where I lived and studied for a summer when I was 18…

But that’s only ONE of the seven incredible episodes that travelers will see. Our very first episode takes us to London where along with composer Alessandro Roveri and a team of incredible musicians, we made a dream into a song…the theme song of Dream of Europe. We recorded and mixed it in studio 2 of Abbey Road Studios, the very space the Beatles recorded most of their songs. (The music video will premiere this summer).
